Prepare the Meatloaf Mixture: In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, French onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, and 1/4 cup of ketchup until well combined.
Shape and Place in Slow Cooker: Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in your slow cooker.
Add Toppings: Spread the remaining 1/4 cup of ketchup over the top of the meatloaf. Layer the thinly sliced onions on top of the ketchup.
